Sony Officially Announces The PS4 Pro

Hey! Nintendom here. While we suspected that a 4K compatible PlayStation 4 was in the pipeline, we’ve all been waiting for the official unveiling and announcement. Well the day has come friends, say hello to the PS4 Pro.

Yes, this is the official look of the upcoming console, which is available for purchase on 10th November 2016 for $399 (just in time for Christmas, thanks Sony!). The PS4 Pro is able to output 4K graphics and will give you stable framerates. Not only that, but the PS4 Pro will graphically enhance your current PS4 games, which is kinda cool. It’s also important to note that both the original PS4 and the PS4 Pro will be compatible with PlayStation VR, so you won’t need to upgrade your original console if you’re getting VR.

PS4 Pro also boasts that having a 4K resolution TV isn’t an issue – because sticking with HD will still give you a better framerate, higher detailed characters and environments and other visual content.

Head over to the PS4 Pro’s FAQ page to see more into the in’s and out’s of the new addition to the console family!
