Get Even and Agony Trailers Shown at Gamescom 2016

Hey guys, Nintendom here. This is my first post as ThatNerdyGirl has been posting all the content you guys have laid your eyes on before, so let me take a moment to just say hello to everyone, and how excited I am to go on a journey with you all! Now, lets get down to business.

For the last few months, I’ve been so out of the loop with most gaming news, and I’ve been so slack that I have only just realised that Gamescom has passed, so I decided to catch up what I’ve missed.

I’m still weeding my way through it all but I really wanted to bring two new horror titles to your attention, because I am so excited for them both and I really hope you are too!

Get Even
Release Date: 2017
Platforms: PS4, Xbox One and PC

Okay so, if you’re a big horror/thriller fan like me, Get Even is right up your alley. Get Even was announced a while back but fell off the grid up until Gamescom – where it was launched back into the limelight. The trailer reminded me a lot of The Evil Within, Condemned and Alice: Madness Returns, which along with the P.T like atmospherics, it’s looking like it will be a high-hitter with horror and thriller fans. I absolutely adore psychological horrors and thrillers, so you’re sure to see more news on Get Even as it comes out here.

Release Date: 2017
Platforms: PS4, Xbox One and PC

Whew, okay… where to start with Agony. I’m blown away by how unsettling the whole environment feels, along with those incredible textures and character modelling – it makes me so excited to hear about the release date. Also, knowing that the studio is only a 9 man team compromising of people who have worked on titles such as The Witcher 3, The Division and Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 just to name a few, I’m expecting something amazing from Agony. It’s a game with so many layers of creepy, it is genuinely making me a bit nervous to play it and that is really something that happens very rarely in games. The only other game to give me the feeling of wanting to close my eyes and not look was P.T and, well, we all know what happened to that…

So, I don’t know about you guys, but I am so psyched for both Agony and Get Even, I can’t contain any feelings. I am such a huge horror fan, but nothing (other than P.T) has scratched my itch for games that really give you a good scare – but I have a good feeling about these two. I’m sure there will be more news on both titles in the future, so watch this space for my articles on them when they appear.

Now that I’ve given you all two new games for your pre-order list, let me know what games you’re looking forward to in the comments!
